Hand of the Week #105 ♦

North starts the bidding by opening 1♠, East overcalls 1NT which shows 15-18 balanced with a spade stopper, South passes and West bids Stayman looking for a major fit (presumably hearts as North has opened spades!). East shows their 4 card heart suit and West invites to game with 3♥ but East declines this invite as they are minimum for their original 1NT overcall. South starts the defence by leading their partner’s suit, the ♠8 to be specific. What is your plan to make here?
