North kicks off the bidding with 1♥, East passes and South jump supports to 3♥, which shows either 10-12 points or an 8 loser hand, depending on if South has a balanced or an unbalanced hand. North has an unbalanced hand themselves so they should operate on losing trick count. With a 6 loser hand and an 8 loser opposite them it is sensible to bid game, so that is exactly what they do by bidding 4♥ which ends the auction. In the play, what is the best way to avoid losing 4 tricks? Your trumps look safe, but there are potential losers in all of the side suits!
