A very straight-forward auction leaves West in a tricky 1NT contract. Neither North nor South appear to be able to overcall over West’s opening of 1NT and East certainly isn’t interested in bidding anything so West opens 1NT and that ends the auction! North starts the defence with a lead of the ♠2 – as West what is your plan to try and make 1NT, or at least not go too many off?!
